A light and airy screen, suspended from the ceiling with chains, elegantly divides the room and offers a degree of privacy for the toilet area.

Cut the 1” x 2” slats into four 7 ft lengths and four 32” lengths.

Cut the 5/16” x 1-1/16” slats into six 7 ft lengths and twelve 36” lengths.

Stain all the pieces.

Glue and fasten the corners of two 7 foot slats and of two 32” slats so as to form the initial frame. Build a second frame and set aside.

Glue and nail the six 7 foot slats vertically and the twelve 36” slats horizontally, as shown in the picture.

Apply glue on each end of the wooden slats and superimpose the 2 frames.

Use clamps and screw the corners for a more solid structure.

Install the eyelets, chains and links, and suspend from the ceiling.
You would like to have more privacy? Add slats of wood or opt for larger slats instead. You can also peint or stain the screen a brighter colour, depending on the colour palette of your decor.
