Start exploring countless blind options, or think about adding timber shutters, frosted glass panels or even string panels. In the bedroom shown here, we pursued a Moroccan vibe with spicy colors, lattice patterns and ornate touches like lamps and metalwork. We asked a timber specialist to cut out fretwork panels which we faux finished in a warm wood tone and then backed everything with a frosted privacy panel. The small upstairs window now contributes to our design capturing, as it does, the Moroccan feel as well as doing the job for which it was intended – smart windows with ample privacy!
