The 2012 edition of Montreal’s annual must-attend international design show, SIDIM, will take Place Bonaventure by storm in just a few days. If you're planning to undertake a major renovation project or just refresh your decor, SIDIM will definitely be a great source of inspiration!

Open to design professionals and businesses on May 24-25th, and to consumers on the 26th, the event will showcase the latest trends in all areas of design.

Some of the themes that will be featured at this year's edition include design innovations in the area of green building, outdoor living and lighting, to name but a few.

The event will also present the talents of designers who are stretching the boundaries of the design industry. This year, Alexandre Blazys and Benoît Gérard, the creative forces behind Blazysgerard, will be honored at SIDIM for their innovative work. The two designers have joined talents to create artistically inspired, innovative and functional living environments that are both highly adapted and emotionally stirring.

SIDIM will equally provide a platform for many young local designers, including Thomas Balaban, Olivier Desrochers, Aboudi Hassoune, Annie Legroulx, Philippe-Albert Lefebvre, Nicola Tardif-Bourdages, Marc-André Plasse and Mario Painchaud, to display their creative talents.

SIDIM offers visitors an opportunity to step into the world of creative design, seek out emerging style trends, exchange with design professionals, as well as see the up-and-coming talents of the design industry. Don't miss Carrefour International, an area of the show reserved exclusively for international exhibitors, that will present the work of Alice Chan and Mandy Tran, and other talented designers from abroad.
