Stone finishes look great indoors so consider adding an accent wall to highlight a chimney breast or bring that outdoors indoors look by cladding a wall that borders the exterior.  Keep other walls flat and single colored so the texture of the stone can really stand out.  Wall lamps positioned on your stone zone will also cast interesting shadows while highlighting the whole project.
