Building or renovating a garage

The restrictions and recommendations concerning new constructions or renovations differ from one borough to the next, even when it comes to your garage. These regulations take into account the colour of the garage, the size, the number of doors facing the street and of course, the transformation of the garage into a liveable space or apartment. For example, it may be possible to transform your garage into a family room or additional bedroom only if the garage is attached to the house.
