To attract butterflies to your garden, choose aromatic plants and flowers like thyme, mint, rosemary and sage. They will also appreciate flowers will plenty of nectar (narcissus, lavenders and carnations), wild plants (dandelions, violets, clover) and especially, the buddleia, commonly known as the “butterfly bush”.
Birds
By installing bird feeders and bird baths in your garden, birds will get into the habit of coming to your backyard to eat and drink. You’ll get an eyeful without having to worry about them feeding from your garden. Conifers and fruit trees also attract birds by offering them food in both winter and summer.
By making your garden appealing to birds and butterflies, you’ll attract them in droves and you’ll be able to enjoy their beauty at any time of the day.
